Project Name

Station Standards Manual

Client

Metropolitan Transportation Authority

The MTA was looking to create a manual to describe the new changes to station design under their Enhanced Station Initiative. We helped create a strategy for organizing and presenting their content and tell the story of the upcoming changes and provide all readers with insights into the overall vision of the new station experience. Content of the book ranges from outlining the vision for the new design of subway stations to detailed fabrication specifications. This guide was used by everyone involved during the redesign and construction of stations and led to similar efforts for the MTA’s other rail services: Metro-North Railroad, and Long Island Rail Road.
