Client
NYU Langone Health
As two new buildings opened on the main campus, the hospital was looking to expand the wayfinding and mapping system to include an interactive experience designed to help visitors navigate the growing campus. We designed and developed interactive pylons that display directional information, a searchable directory, notices, and interactive route maps. After rounds of user-testing and design adjustments, the new ADA-compliant system enhances the patient and visitor experience.

Process and Responsibilities
- Updated campus map to include new buildings and support interactive features
- Determined how visitors would search for destinations and how routes would be displayed for single-floor and multi-floor routes
-
Created interface navigation system to allow for discovery of all content and adjustments to text size and language
-
Ensured system could support frequent updates to content, the addition of new notices, and new languages
- Created sitemaps, storyboards, wireframes, specification documents and production ready art
