Project Name

The Bay Park
Conveyance Project

Client

Nassau County, NY

As Nassau County began to embark on a series of environmental infrastructure projects requiring public outreach and involvement, they decided there was a need for a strong visual communications campaign to communicate the complex plans. I worked to develop an identity for the overarching Initiative and three separate but related projects under the initiative. For one, The Bay Park Conveyance Projects, I produced a number of elements for public engagement including, a website, brochures, meeting materials, educational posters, and assisted with the production of a 5-minute project video. After the project gained the required support from the community, the county seamlessly took over the creation of new materials and continued to update the project website based on the graphic identity guidelines we created.

My Role and Responsibilities

  • Identified the need for overall initiative identity

  • Designed identity system and all materials for internal and public-facing communications

  • Assisted the team to tell the story of the complicated environmental problem, as well as the construction method required to resolve the problem

  • Worked with County and State representatives from concept to completion on all materials
